School Performance Plan

As a team member responsible for crafting the School Performance Plan (SPP), I am deeply engaged in shaping its trajectory towards enhancing student achievement. Our collaborative efforts involve identifying specific goals aligned with student success, adult learning cultural, and connectedness, and devising tailored improvement strategies and action steps. With a commitment to revisiting the plan three times a year, we ensure its responsiveness to evolving needs and data, thus driving continuous improvement within our school community. My role involves contributing insights, facilitating discussions, and championing initiatives that foster a culture of excellence and inclusivity. Through our collective dedication, I am actively shaping the SPP to catalyze positive change and empower all stakeholders towards achieving our shared vision of educational excellence.

Professional Growth Facilitator

As a professional growth facilitator, I specialize in creating tailored professional development initiatives aimed at nurturing a positive school culture and climate while also supporting Tier 1, 2, and 3 instruction. Collaborating closely with school leadership and educators, I design workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions that address the specific needs and goals of the school community.

In the realm of school culture and climate, I foster an inclusive environment through sessions on culturally responsive teaching, restorative justice practices, and relationship-building strategies. Simultaneously, I provide support across all tiers of instruction, offering guidance on implementing evidence-based practices from the adopted curriculum for Tier 1 instruction and facilitating interventions and data analysis for Tiers 2 and 3. By integrating professional development opportunities that enhance both school culture and instructional practices, I empower educators to create a supportive and equitable learning environment where all students can thrive academically and socially.

MAP Data Analyst

As a MAP data analyst, I play a pivotal role in creating a comprehensive strategic plan to enhance student achievement during the winter and spring testing window. Beyond solely focusing on students, I recognize the importance of involving teachers and parents to maximize impact. Leveraging MAP data insights, I craft tailored strategies that address the unique needs of students, while also providing targeted support and resources for teachers and parents. This multifaceted approach ensures a holistic and collaborative effort towards increasing student scores.

One aspect of my strategic plan involves providing professional development opportunities for teachers on effectively utilizing MAP data to inform instruction and intervention strategies. Through workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions, I empower educators with the knowledge and skills needed to analyze student data, identify areas for growth, and implement evidence-based practices that drive academic progress. Additionally, I facilitate parent workshops and communication channels to equip parents with the tools and understanding necessary to support their child's learning journey at home.

Instructional Coach

As an instructional coach, my focus is on enhancing Tier 1 instruction using the adopted curriculum, myPerspective, to foster student success across all content areas. Collaborating closely with teachers, I lead the development of a strategic plan that ensures the effective implementation of myPerspective's instructional resources and strategies. Through targeted professional development sessions and ongoing support, I empower teachers to integrate best practices into their daily lessons, promoting engaging and rigorous learning experiences for all students.

In addition to supporting teachers in curriculum implementation, I facilitate data-driven discussions to identify areas for improvement and tailor instructional approaches to meet the diverse needs of students. By fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous growth, I empower educators to reflect on their practice, refine their instructional strategies, and cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment. Together, we work towards the shared goal of maximizing student achievement and promoting excellence in Tier 1 instruction across the school community.

Scope and Sequence Facilitator

As part of the "Get Better Faster" instructional coaching program, our focus is on providing a structured scope and sequence designed to accelerate teacher growth and improve instructional practice. Built on research-based strategies and best practices, our program offers a comprehensive framework for instructional coaches to support teachers in their professional development journey.

Through a carefully crafted scope and sequence, we guide coaches in delivering targeted feedback, modeling effective instructional strategies, and facilitating reflective conversations. Our approach emphasizes actionable steps and concrete techniques that enable teachers to implement immediate improvements in their classroom practice.
