I am forever grateful for the guidance and inspiration that Mrs. Jordan has provided to me. She believed in me when I didn't believe in myself and pushed me to reach my full potential. She was there for me when I had family issues, and supported me through every decision I made. Mrs. Jordan let me express myself how I wanted and helped me put it into writing. Thanks to her, I now have a lifelong love for literature and writing and a deep appreciation for helping me learn I can express myself through different and creative ways. Coach Jordan has not only made me into the athlete I am today but she’s also formed me into the person i’ve become. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I was given when I joined the Shadow Ridge Cheer program. I could not ask for a better mentor and supporter in my time as a cheerleader. Over the years she pushed me in ways I could not push myself, through tough love and encouraging words. From the beginning, Coach Jordan saw the potential in me that not even I saw which gave me the confidence to continue to get better. I owe all my accomplishments and growth to her. Without Coach Jordan I would not have gotten to experience high school in the same way that enjoy it as a cheerleader. I am forever grateful that I got to have her as a role model and leader.

It has been an honor to work alongside Mrs. Stephanie Jordan as a colleague and coach for 6 years. Mrs. Jordan encompasses the meaning of a leader: she is reliable, compassionate, strong-willed, and student-centered. As a colleague, Mrs. Jordan is the epitome of a cooperative collaborator, having conversations and growing together as teachers to best support student learning. Her phenomenal self-discipline and passion for education proved true as she successfully juggled coaching, teaching, school, and family consecutively. It is incredibly admirable. She knows what it takes to get the job done, and done well, no matter what task is in her hands. In addition, she is one of the most kind-hearted and positive people I have known, consistently expressing gratitude and compassion no matter the occasion or challenge. Mrs. Jordan takes initiative to ensure that her colleagues and coaches are prepared with best practices by having clear and open communication. As a coach, Mrs. Jordan set a standard for her assistant coaches through communication, as well as integrity and accountability, without which, I would not have been able to lead the program on my own after her. She constantly reinforced the importance of hard work, patience, and perseverance to ensure athlete safety and success; reinforcing the expectations necessary to have a successful program required vast understanding of the sport and self-awareness. I felt prepared and capable because of her guidance and leadership, and she continued to provide advice and support along my journey. She is a valuable colleague, coach, and a loyal friend. Anyone would be honored to work beside her or be led by her if they received that privilege.

Mrs Jordan was my 11th grade English teacher that taught me right and wrong throughout that school year. Being respectful, responsible, and to always keep pushing are the factors she taught me. She just wasn’t a teacher, she was someone that you could rely on to talk to or need someone to just be there for you. Mrs Jordan also is a very understanding person when it comes to seeing other people's perspectives. Her best factor about her is that she’s a very strong independent person with a bright mindset that lightens everyone up.
